Natural Path Pottery Studio

Welcome to Natural Path Arts,  your local pottery studio dedicated to the art and joy of working with clay. I offer a nurturing environment where creativity flows and skills develop through hands-on experience.

I specialize in pottery instruction for children and adults who benefit from the sensory experience of clay, supporting development in focus, attention, fine motor skills, and core strength through creative expression. Beyond our studio walls, I bring the joy of pottery to the wider community with programs at retirement homes, community events, and camps, making the therapeutic benefits of clay accessible to all. Join us at Natural Path Arts and discover how working with clay can enhance well-being, foster creativity, and build community through the ancient art of pottery.

My offerings include:

Private one-on-one and group classes - Personalized instruction tailored to your skill level and creative goals, providing focused attention and guidance.

Workshops - Explore specific techniques and projects in our themed sessions, perfect for both beginners and experienced potters. Also available are a series of group clay sculptural workshops designed to promote team building, healthy group development and exploration of how clay can promote a deeper understanding of oneself and others.

Pottery Parties - Celebrate special occasions with a unique, creative experience for all ages – a memorable alternative to traditional gatherings.

Adaptive Children’s lessons - These classes offer specialized pottery instruction for children who benefit from the sensory experience of clay, supporting development in focus, attention, fine motor skills, and core strength through creative expression.

Community Outreach - Bringing the bring the joy and benefits of clay beyond the studio walls and into the community, making the therapeutic benefits of clay accessible to all. Some events on the calendar this summer include pottery at the June Ave Neighbourhood Carnival, and a series of monthly ceramic workshops at Grace Gardens Community housing here in Guelph. I’m also teaching at the Trillium Waldorf Summer camp for a few weeks this summer.

Professional Development Workshops -These hands-on clay sculpture workshops offer a creative and impactful way for teams to explore collaboration, communication, and group dynamics. Working with clay naturally engages the hand-brain connection, supporting cognitive development, problem-solving, and emotional awareness. As participants shape and mold, they gain insights into interpersonal patterns, build trust, and strengthen team cohesion—all while engaging their hands and imaginations.

Rooted in experiential learning and supported by neuroscience, these workshops are ideal for staff retreats, wellness days, and professional development sessions. Each experience is tailored to meet the unique needs of your group. Past hosts include the University of Guelph - Student Wellness, Rudolf Steiner College Canada, and Trillium Waldorf School
